The Radically Rural Summit
Calling All Rural Leaders, Founders, and Trailblazers!
Radically Rural is an annual two-day summit that brings together hundreds people who are passionate about creating vibrant, robust rural communities and eager to learn, connect and lead change.
Broad shifts in demographics, communications, technology, economic development, and personal values are generating creative responses from innovative thinkers, change-makers, entrepreneurs, and community-builders who love their towns and know their advantages. Come and learn what they are doing. Radically Rural offers 19 sessions across six engaging program tracks, including a keynote session for all tracks. Wendy Guillies, President and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and Art Markman, Executive Director of the IC2 Institute, will keynote the opening and closing, respectively.
Learn. Network. Share. Collaborate. Enjoy.
The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship and The Keene Sentinel— thriving, independent, rural-based organizations — partner to annually present the Radically Rural Summit. The summit builds upon and includes the impressive CONNECT event, an annual gathering of more than 500 engaged, locally focused community members celebrating and fostering the advantages and opportunities of rural living.
The venue radiates rural and converts a small town into a conference center. Rather than a windowless, over-air conditioned ball room, attendees will pass coffee houses, restaurants, shops and meeting places to find our attractive, inviting event venues sprinkled conveniently throughout a small downtown district, which includes a college campus. It’s a creative framework for substantive, high-energy learning, discussing and sharing — mixed with great local food, networking, and regional art and music.
